CMS Insurance, a firm made up of independent insurance agents, was looking to update and add content to their Web site. They wanted their site to have more take-away information for consumers, so I worked with them to create a FAQ section and to write copy about the various types of insurance they offer, such as umbrella insurance and long-term care insurance.

An industrial food broker, Forbes Foods needed to freshen up their Web site; I worked with the designer they hired to create an outline for the new site, spent time talking with the Forbes folks to help them figure out what their new site needed to say, and built their copy accordingly. |
A small trucking company, Gateway Distribution had steadily been building up their business, but they needed some help with the direction of their marketing materials. I worked with them to create Web copy for their new site that better told the story of their capabilities. |

A large healthcare institution needs a lot of promotional materials, and I've worked on dozens of consumer and business-to- business pieces for Deaconess corporate, including annual reports, tabloid inserts for newspapers and corporate newsletters.

A quarterly corporate magazine, The Cablegram is full of articles about company-related trends and happenings as well as employee features. I worked closely with the magazine's editor to research and write articles for several Cablegrams. I've also worked on business-to-business brochures, catalogs, sell sheets and ads for General Cable.

Working with an agency, I co-wrote the coffee table book Turning Points: Personal Stories of Transformation and Triumph for Ethicon Endo-Surgery. Through in-depth profiles, the book tells the story of Bariatric surgery through the eyes of the surgeons, medical personnel, and researchers on the forefront, as well as the patients whose lives have been transformed.
